Bruce Eng is currently an international expert in smart manufacturing at Air Liquide. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rice University. He has worked at Air Liquide for 13 years in a variety of roles, including as a process engineer, as a manager of operator training simulation, and as an advanced process control engineer.
Eng has developed a number of tools used within Air Liquide including a web-based dynamic simulation platform, a web-based loop tuning tool, and an embedded equation of state for air separation. He was recently instrumental in driving Air Liquide’s adoption of Yokogawa PACE for multivariable process control of HyCO and ASU units.
His professional interests include process control, optimization, procedural automation and dynamic simulation. He is also a licensed professional engineer and holds a patent in HyCO technology.
