Biography
Trent Salvaggio is executive director of the Internet of Things Talent Consortium, an industry non-profit whose members include Cisco, GE, Microsoft, MIT Sloan School of Management, Rockwell Automation, Pearson Education, New York Academy of Sciences and other forward-thinking organizations. He leads the Consortium in its cross-industry efforts to inspire, create, and grow the organizations and workforces necessary to drive IoT-enabled digital transformation for the betterment of business, society, and the world. Previously, Salvaggio was a professor at the College of Charleston School of Business where he taught and published original research in management, leadership, organizational behavior, and strategy. He has also held a variety of senior leadership positions with multi-national and Fortune 500 corporations, driving enterprise-wide change and development efforts. He earned a PhD from Trident University International for research surrounding leadership in virtual environments and an MBA and BA from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, SC.
